The service remains operational but with intermittent behavior.

We would like to inform you that the Ecuador Civil Register is currently experiencing intermittent disruptions in its services. As this service is a component of the biometric validation process, some users may experience delays or failures when attempting to complete their verification.
This incident originates on the Civil Registry's end and is outside of Jelou's control. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as service stability is restored.

We are currently investigating intermittent performance degradation affecting biometric identity verification workflows (including document scanning and facial liveness checks).
End users may encounter extended processing times or intermittent timeouts during verification attempts. All other platform features and messaging channels remain fully operational. Our engineering team is actively diagnosing upstream provider connectivity and integration endpoints to restore full stability.
